(Cincinnati, OH.)—The Cincinnati Board of Education will host a hearing Monday evening at six to discuss the 2014-15 General Fund Budget for Cincinnati Public Schools.
The fund is designed to support and increase the success of CPS’ 33,000 students.
The hearing will include a budget overview by Treasurer Diana Whitt and a presentation by Deputy Superintendent Laura Mitchell over the district initiatives and board goals.
Janet Walsh, spokesperson of CPS, said that they are seeking a personal approach to learning with technology.
“There is a need to really build customization,” Walsh said in a 700WLW interview. “Technology helps us do that. So the students have individualize play books.”
The meeting is at Cincinnati Public Schools Education Center at 2651 Burnet Avenue in Corryville.
