(Sedamsville) Police say a car went left of center on U.S. 50 River Road at Steiner Avenue causing it to slam into a semi-truck at about 11 o'clock Monday night. The tanker truck rolled over and flipped onto its top. The accident caused tank the semi was carrying to rupture spilling almost 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel all over the road. Hazmat and Ohio EPA crews were called out to help clean up the mess. As of 7 a.m. Tuesday, the road was still closed. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. While crews were cleaning up that spill Tuesday morning, another semi crashed just west of the first accident on River Road at Ivanhoe at about 6:15 a.m. A semi in that crash was leaking fuel from its gas tank, holding up morning commute traffic as officers closed one lane of traffic.
