(Hamilton Co., Oh) Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil reports that a shooting occurred at approximately 6:08 pm. on west bound IR 74 somewhere east of the Dry Fork exit. The victim, a male white 22years of age, stated that while driving on the interstate, a silver four door vehicle occupied by two male blacks pulled alongside of his vehicle. According to the victim, one of the occupants of the vehicle fired at least three shots into the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle. At least one of those shots struck the victim. The victim continued driving and exited on Dry Fork Rd. The victim then pulled into the parking lot of the BP gas station located at 9055 Dry Fork Rd. and asked the clerk to call for help because he had been shot. Officers from the Harrison Police Department and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and located the victim. The victim was transported by the Harrison life squad to the Mercy Medical Center in Harrison where he was stabilized before being transported by University Hospital Air Care to University Hospital. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
