Student Charged with Making "Terroristic Threats"

( Oxford, OH ) - A Talawanda High School student was arrested Thursday after threatening to bring guns to school. 

Butler County Sherriff Richard K. Jones says the Sheriff's Office received information that a student was planning to come to school on Friday with a handgun and rifle concealed under a trench coat. 

The 15 year-old male student was immediately located by detectives. The investigation revealed that the student had been playing a "Truth or Dare" type game and threatened to go to school with the weapons. 

A precautionary search was done at his home and no guns were found. 

The teen was been charged with Juvenile Delinquency by reason of Making Terroristic Threats.
