(Cincinnati) Even fewer people turned out than expected. Voters in Ohio and Indiana went to the polls yesterday, deciding a number of issues in the primary election.

In Ohio, voters chose Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald to run against incumbent Governor John Kasich in the November election and House Speaker John Boehner easily defeated his tea party challengers.

Voters also decided a number of school issues, passing levies in Loveland, Fairfield, Franklin and Middletown.

A police levy in Delhi and a fire levy in Loveland were also approved. The Colerain Township police levy passed by 11 votes so there will be a recount.
