(Cincinnati)--Thousands are expected on Fountain Square Thursday for the next round of World Cup Soccer. The United States will take on Germany in the final match of group play. Both the U.S. and Germany need at least a draw to advance to the next round.
The game will be shown on the Big Board on Fountain Square. The party officially gets stared at 11a with the game starting at 12p.
Around 8,000 people showed up to watch the U.S. take on Portugal. Brittany Carden, communications manager with 3CDC, says she expects Thursdays crowd to be even larger.
