  • 2 cans (10 1/2 ounces) beef consommé
  • 10 1/2 ounce can V-8 juice
  • 1 package unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons vodka
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Dash Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash salt, sugar and Tabasco, to taste
  • Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped Vidalia onion
  • Caviar

 Heat the consommé and juice together.  Sprinkle over the gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved.  Remove from heat and stir in vodka and lemon juice.  Season to taste with Worcestershire, salt, sugar and Tabasco.Pour into small cups or bowls.  Chill until set.To serve: top with a dollop of sour cream, a bit of onion and a small scoop of caviar.Serves 4 to 6
