Custard Pie

  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Dash of cinnamon


Scald the milk.

Beat together eggs and sugar until thick and light yellow.  Gently stir in the milk and add vanilla.

Pour into a 9” unbaked pie shell and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.  Bake in a 400 º F. oven for about 40 minutes or until set, golden brown and puffed in the middle.
