- 12 fresh jalapenos
- 1 cup crabmeat
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup onion
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/4 cup tortilla chips, finely crushed
- Chili powder, to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Cut off on side of the jalapenos. Remove stem, seeds and membranes.
Mix together the crab, cheese, onion, lime juice, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Stuff the jalapenos with the mixture. Top with the tortilla chip crumbs.
Grill for 10 to 15 minutes until the pepper is slightly charred. Or, bake in a hot oven.
