·         24 single graham crackers

·         2 sticks butter

·         1 c. brown sugar

·         2 c. chopped pecans

Place graham crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet (with sides).

Melt the butter, add the sugar and boil 1 minute.

Add the pecans.

Pour over the graham crackers.

Bake in a 350 f. oven for 8 minutes.

Cool, break up like toffee.

Optional: when cookies are removed from the oven sprinkle with 6 oz. semi-sweet choc. chips and return to the oven for 1 minute…..spread chocolate over the top and allow to set.
