Blend together the flour and soda and set aside.
Cream the butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix until fluffy. Beat in the eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture. Fold in thee chips and nuts.
Drop by heating teaspoons onto an ungreased baking sheet – about 2” apart.
Bake in the top of a preheated 375 °F. oven for 9 to 10 minutes.
