• 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
 Cream the sugar and butter until blended.  Beat in eggs, one at a timeStir in sour cream and vanilla.  Sift together the dry ingredients and stir in along with the bananas.Add 1/2 cup nuts, if desired. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans and bake in a 350 º F. oven for about 40 minutes.
