Crust:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- Combine in food processor. Press into an ungreased jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 350 º F. oven for 10 -12 minutes or until lightly browned
- Topping:
- 2 cups salted mixed nuts
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon water
Sprinkle the nuts over the baked crust.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes.
Return to the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
