Mix together all of the ingredients.Lightly brush the ribs on both sides with vegetable oil.Rub both sides of the ribs with the rub.Place in a shallow dish and cover with plastic wrap.Chill for at least 2 hours or as long as overnight.To finish:Brown both sides of the ribs on a hot grill, turning once, just until golden brown.Wrap each separately in 2 large sheets of heavy duty foil, sealing the edges securely.Return to indirect heat on the grill with low to medium heat.(Grill should be 300 to 325 º F.)Cook for 2 1/2 hours or until meat is fork tender.Meanwhile, make the barbecue sauce.When the ribs are ready to serve, put them on a platter and drizzle with sauce.Pass the remaining warm sauce.Serves 6 to 8.
