On November 16, hundreds of 5” x 7” works of art will be up for grabs once the curtains open at Secret ArtWorks: When Pigs Invade! These original small-scale masterpieces are donated by locally, nationally, and internationally acclaimed artists. These artworks can be yours – but here’s the secret: you won’t know the identity of the artist until you purchase the work! Looking for something a little larger than 5” x 7”? This year we will be auctioning off some of the squealers from ArtWorks’ recent Big Pig Gig: Do-Re-Wee! This is your chance to own a piece of hog history. All proceeds from the event will benefit ArtWorks, the award-winning nonprofit that creates innovative public art that enriches the Greater Cincinnati region, provides training and business courses to creative entrepreneurs, creates art for and with hospital patients and their families, and provides job opportunities for both teen and professional artists.
Ice Rink Construction begins November 1 on Fountain Square. The US Bank Ice Rink opens on Thanksgiving Day.
