Acer saccharum – Sugar Maple cultivars like Fall Fiesta, Legacy, Bonfire and Green Mountain. I have never met a Sugar Maple I didn’t like! Fall would not be the same without the Sugar Maple.
Quercus coccinea – Scarlet Oak – Not enough Oaks planted these days and this one is one of my favorites for its glossy foliage and great Scarlet-Red Fall Color!
Taxodium distichum – Bald Cypress Love it!!!!! Doesn’t need to be standing in water but does like it moist.
Ginkgo biloba ‘Autumn Gold’ – Ginkgo what can I say! Love the clear Yellow fall color and the history and great old big examples in our region!

Cladrastis kentukea ‘Perkin’s Pink’ – Perkin’s Pink Yellowwood - Great vase shaped native tree with good yellow fall color.
Acer miyabei ‘State Street’ – State Street Maple Solid medium sized performer in the landscape. Good foliage and good yellow fall color
Fagus sylvatica ‘Pendula’ – Any weeping form of European Beech is fine with me! I love ‘Purple Fountain the best when it comes to the color purple!
Small
Cornus florida ‘Cloud Nine’ or ‘Spring Grove™ - They need a special spot in the landscape but if given the right spot there is no better tree to sound off on spring! Red fall color is impressive as well.
Magnolia – Any! Purple types like the old fashioned Saucer Magnolia to white with Merrill I love them all!
Cercidiphyllum japonicum ‘Amazing Grace’ - Amazing Grace Weeping Katsura If you don’t have it it is Liz’s fault!
How about Acer palmatum ‘Burgundy Lace’ or Acer x ‘Girard’s Hybrid’ or Weeping Redbuds, or Cherries like Kwansan, oo many trees too little time
