Rita's Easiest Blackberry Cobbler
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 generous cups berries
Preheat oven to 375. In an 8” square or 2 quart baking dish, melt butter in oven. Carefully remove and set aside. Whisk flour, baking powder and sugar together. Add milk and stir until just combined. Pour batter into melted butter but don’t stir. Add cherries. Bake 30-40 minutes or until cake portion is golden and berries exude juices.
