The Drive-By Media see Obama as historic, and they want him to make history so they can say they were there when it happened.

The Official EIB Obam-Uh criticizer on The Messiah dissing our troops, and giving props to Mookie's boyz and the Sunnis for the victory won by the Bush-Petraeus surge.

Pearl of Wisdom:
"Obama seems to think history in the Middle East started yesterday. He's making a fool of himself. This is not presidential. This is pathetic, embarrassing ignorance coupled with arrogance."

» The Washington Post: "[B]y Mr. Obama's own account, neither U.S. commanders nor Iraq's principal political leaders actually support his strategy." This is heresy!
» Max Boot in the Washington Post:
Behind Prime Minister Maliki's Games

There would have been no Sunni awakening without the surge. The Messiah grew testy with Katie Couric when she dared ask why he doesn't credit the American troops and the Bush-Petraeus surge. McCain said "I'd rather lose a campaign than a war." Obama would rather lose the war.

Rush isn't mocking God by calling Obama The Messiah. He's mocking those who are insulting the true Messiah by comparing this mere mortal, Obama, to a messiah.

Pearl of Wisdom:
"In 2004, Ken Salazar ran as a Democrat not beholden to liberal ideology who'd do what's right for the country. That rhetoric won him his Colorado Senate seat. Now, the Interior Department plans to sell oil shale leases on federal land. Guess who's blocking the way? Ken Salazar."

July 23, 2008: McCain announces plans to visit an oil rig. (Next stop,
ANWR!)

After Dr. Roy Spencer's showdown with Official EIB Clown Barbara Boxer, Rush promotes Dr. Spencer to Vice President of the EIB Network / Climatology.

Pearl of Wisdom:
"One of the fears that Reverends Jackson and Sharpton have with Obama is that the race business depends on blacks feeling inferior, and how in the hell do you keep them feeling inferior if there's a black man in the White House? That's a key reason why the Reverend Jackson wants to remove The Messiah's nuts."

When the National Enquirer reports on Rush the Drive-By Media runs with it. But they ignore this report on possible Obama veep John "The Breck Girl" Edwards' affair.

Show Highlight: Obama can't, uh, get, uh, more than -- than two words, uh, you know, out when he's, uh, off the teleprompter. We played a 46-second montage of his uhs and ums, along with his many vapid responses.

Barack Obama opposed the surge, opposed victory, and opposed helping Iraqis. Now, the Drive-By Media covers for him and reports his brilliant strategies won victory in Iraq and Afghanistan. Stalin didn't get this kind of coverage from Pravda. There's going to be a backlash against the press over this.
» ABC's The Note:
Obama Gets Benefits, Not Blame, of Troop Surge

Pearl of Wisdom:
"It's insulting to listen to this pap, this flummery that Obama is some brilliant statesman who is responsible for all these new policies, which have been the general idea since the get-go in terms of how to win in Afghanistan and Iraq."

The Messiah lectures an ABC disciple for daring to try to "pin him down," but a Judas appears! Washington Post columnist Dan Balz declares: "Obama has certainly not won the argument over Iraq policy. Far from it."

Mistakes pile up on the Messiah Tour: Andrea Mitchell on Obama's staged interviews

Obama is a con artist. He is conning everybody, and he's getting away with it because so many people want to be conned.

Pearl of Wisdom:
"We're succeeding in Iraq because of tribesmen standing down and the awakening, not the US military, not our strategy, not our execution of the battle plan? Right, Obama. And the Soviet collapsing had nothing to do with America or Reagan."

Jesse in Detroit on Obama's Slander of the Military:
"I'm a black man from Detroit, and I served as a Marine in Vietnam from '65 to '66. This is for my brothers serving now. If Obama cared about them, he'd have supported the surge, because it has saved countless American and Iraqi lives."

The NAGs (National Organization of Gals) honored Rush for a distorted version of his question about watching Hillary grow old in office. Nonetheless, Rush is honored.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) attacked Official EIB Climatologist Roy Spencer during his testimony before the Senate. Rush responded by making her EIB's Official Clown.

A Rush Baby goes off on the absurdity of "renewable energy." Rush suggests the kid think practically: liberal chicks love that garbage.

Pearl of Wisdom:
"'People want government benefits no matter what? Give it to them. If they don't like war, then don't fight a war, even if US national security interests are at stake. It's the only way to win elections.'"

Rush's advice to Senator McCain: "McCain is doing some responding to Obama. He needs to be on an oil rig, and at a nuclear plant. He needs to do a bunch of things to focus on what the American people are most interested in now: energy and its price."

Little Barry Obama is touring the world on someone else's dime, like a student touring colleges. In only 24 hours, he's solved Afghanistan. Never mind that he's saying the same thing Bush and McCain have been saying. Obama is The Messiah, the Chosen One. He is a Man of Peace, so the media swoons.

"The big issue in people's minds is $4-and-rising-a-gallon gas. Now the Democrat Congress plans to raise the tax on gas! Once again, Sen. McCain has a campaign issue drop right in his lap."

Algore is out of his mind, folks. It's impossible for us to get off carbon-based fuels in 10 years. It'd ruin us to try. No alternative fuel will get a plane off the ground. Global warming is a hoax based on cooked data, anyway.

» The AP:
FBI: No Credible Terrorist Threat Ahead of Democrat Convention

Mark Davis:
"There was an objective reason to expect Saddam's regime to have a whole lot of WMD's. President Bush believed it. Republicans believed it. Democrats believed it. John Kerry believed it. Bill Clinton believed it. The French believed it. Everybody had an expectation based on the intelligence of the time that Saddam was running a WMD festival."

Rush Limbaugh:
"Down the road when we find out that windmills have failed because we can't count on when wind will blow or store the energy, the people that were responsible for it will never, ever get blamed. We will only be able to talk about their good intentions, not the failed results. This is how leftists excuse every failure."

Political Bigotry is not thinking about what anyone is saying, but rather hating them instantly because of what you perceive their politics to be. President Bush is a victim of that like no other president before him.

Mark Davis:
"The skills that Tony Snow brought to this job, talk show host, were the skills that made him special in other walks of life. He liked people. He was interested in everything. He was curious and tolerant of people's views, yet assertive about his own, and always upbeat and just a magnificent man."

Senate Minority Leader, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) joined Jed Babbin to discuss the Gas Price Reduction Act of 2008, and the importance of judicial confirmations as Republicans move forward.

The Democrats believe in government, they don't believe in the market. As the late great Ronaldus Magnus said, "Government is not the solution to the problem. Government is the problem."

Jed Babbin:
"All we hear from the Democrats is more and more regulation. Not more freedom for the market, but more regulation of the market, and that's a principle difference people need to remember this fall when going into the voting booth."
